Parvati mother of Lord Ganesh is also known as Gauri. Gauri Pujan is all about worshiping Goddess Parvati or Gauri. Gauri Habba (Festival) is celebrated in households a day before Ganesha Chaturthi. Gauri Maa, a very fair complexioned incarnation of Goddess Parvati, is worshiped for her ability to bestow upon her devotees power, courage and valour. She is the most powerful of all the Goddesses and is the very incarnation of Aadi Shakti Mahamaya.

Parvati mother of Lord Ganesh is also known as Gauri. Gauri Pujan is all about worshiping Goddess Parvati or Gauri. It is celebrated mainly in Maharashtra. It falls during the fourth or fifth day of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Gauri Habba (Festival) is celebrated in households a day before Ganesha Chaturthi. Gauri Maa, a very fair complexioned incarnation of Goddess Parvati, is worshiped for her ability to bestow upon her devotees power, courage and valour. She is the most powerful of all the Goddesses and is the very incarnation of Aadi Shakti Mahamaya.

Gauri Puja is celebrated for welcoming wealth and prosperity into life. The rituals continue for three days, where the first day is Gauri Avahan where the Goddess is brought home and the second-day puja takes place and the third day is the 'Visarjan', which takes place with the idol immersed in water bodies
