Ananthapadmanabha Swamy Vratham Puja or Anthanachaturdashi Puja is performed for Lord Sri Maha Vishnu the creator, one who has neither birth nor death. The festival falls on Chathurdashi tithi (14th day) in the Hindu month of Bhadrapada, usually happens on August – September in Gregorian calendar every year for a period of 14 continuous years. The word ‘Ananta itself gives the meaning – endless. Endless joy and happiness is provided by performing Anantha Vratham.
