Step-by-Step Vahan Puja Vidhi

Step 1: Direction & Cleaning

Park your new vehicle facing East or North (the directions of God). Sprinkle holy water (Ganga Jal) mixed with turmeric on the bonnet and sides to purify it.

Step 2: The Swastik Ritual

Using a paste of Turmeric and Sindoor (Kumkum), draw a Swastik symbol on the hood (bonnet) of the car. The Swastik is a symbol of auspiciousness and good fortune. Offering rice grains (Akshat) on it ensures abundance.

Step 3: Dashboard Puja

Place a small idol of Lord Ganesha on the dashboard. Light incense sticks and rotate them clockwise inside the car to cleanse the interior air and energy.
